Polocrosse Australia has rules and regulations in place to ensure polocrosse is family friendly, fun and provides a safe environment for everyone involved.
The rules contained in the rule book are intended to guide the conduct of a game and cover the playing of a game and matters reasonably and necessarily related to that.
In December 2024 Polocrosse Australia launched the updated Rules of Australian Polocrosse. The new rules will be effective for all Australian polocrosse from the 1 January 2025.
The rule changes focus on player safety and game management along with clarification and streamlining of existing rules. The layout of the rules has also been updated to simplify and encourage use by all of the community, not just umpires.
